Help us reach our fundraising goal for

Missoula Speech and Debate Nationals 2019!

Missoula county public schools
To Our Supporters,

We are a group of fourteen students from Sentinel High School, Hellgate High School and Big Sky High School who have competed in Speech and Debate for a number of years. Not only is Speech and Debate fun, but it provides us with important life skills such as public speaking, research experience, and an excellent work ethic. This year, Sentinel, Hellgate and Big Sky students are combining forces to fundraise for the National Tournament.

In February, after a long competitive season, we attended the National Qualifier tournament in Billings, MT, where we placed in the top three competitors for our events. Due to our placements, in June, we have the honor of traveling to Dallas, Texas, to help represent Montana and compete at the national level. Only 40 Montana students qualified for the National tournament, and we are thrilled to be included in this number!

Due to the demands of travel, we are starting a vigorous fundraising campaign. We must raise a total of $15,000 for travel, lodging, food, and registration costs. In order to participate in the tournament, we rely on donations from community members like yourself!
